QatarDebate is pleased to bring debate into the classroom as an educational tool for teachers in all subject areas.  This booklet contains lesson plans and worksheets that can be used immediately!  This excellent resource bridges the gap between how to debate competitively and how students of all ability levels can still benefit by learning debate skills.  The worksheets provided can be used for formal writing assignments or classroom speeches and presentations.  They are designed to teach both persuasive writing and speaking skills after critically analyzing a topic verbally or a non-fiction text.  Currently, they are aligned to Qatar's National Standards, but easily fit into other country's educational standards as well.
